George Simm is an Honorary Board Member of Developing Opportunity. Since his distinguished 30 year military career in the British Special Air Service where he was highly decorated for gallantry, Mr. Simm has been involved in commercial security operations since 1999.
The scope of these operations include considerable time spent working for the United Nations World Food Programme; auditing their operations across the South and Southeast Asia, and planning the evacuation of India for the complete UN operation during the Indo-Pakistan crisis of 2002.
Simm has been involved in establishing civil aid, fishery protection projects in Somalia, power regeneration projects in Iraq and support to NGO's in Afghanistan.
Currently Simm is based out of Dubai as the Managing Director of HART Security. |
